🔗 but trying to cancel carbon looking after other places.
🔗 Ellesmere and this is what he had to say about Ellesmere Ellesmere as well.
🔗 Klaus I'm not joking. It was well trust me I will.
🔗 I've worked in those days been my bass.
🔗 Since I came to structure in two thousand
🔗 and yes I've been involved with the site
🔗 but it was only in recent times with all the shakeup in within the council
🔗 or it landed on my desk right Sean.
🔗 You've got responsibility for old man I thought it was only for the last few years
🔗 that I've really given it my full attention and during
🔗 that time you know I've realized all the L's me has got to offer you know it's got
🔗 the dates back to the schedule agent monument there so you've got the castle
🔗 and then you've got the arrival of the canal in the early eight hundred and.
🔗 Then you obviously you've got the lake
🔗 and then surrounded by woodland it's just as a stone in place
🔗 and I recently saw on Facebook.
🔗 Someone had put up one of these quad copter videos you know yeah. ALDRIN video.
🔗 You know drone video over that and it was over the town and I was watching this
🔗 and I was thinking are Blimey And you know what a responsibility to look after
🔗 that because it is and then it all you know brought a tear to my eyes.
🔗 Well the beauty of the place
🔗 and I'm not exaggerating not just in my job here Brian I think it is a world class
🔗 place people and people who haven't really discovered it
🔗 that Sean Birky discussing his belief that Ellesmere is a world class place
🔗 and I got asked wondering about what other places
🔗 or the things could be classed as world class this morning
🔗 that we're going to be putting together our seven wonders of Shropshire will put
🔗 and in particular the mirror Ellesmere in there which leaves six spaces free for
🔗 you to nominate one of the wonders of Shropshire. What should it be.
🔗 One seven four three two four eight three two one text eight one three double three
🔗 starting the text with the word shrub or send me an email to Jim Dawkins at B.B.C.
🔗 Doc. EK the seven wonders of Shropshire.
🔗 Sean Berky's expert expert indorsement. Put Ellesmere in one of the slots.
🔗 But which should be in the other six one
🔗 three three B.B.C.
🔗 Radio show
🔗 feel I have done my duty for this poem about lifting your spirits engaging you know
🔗 making you smile by playing your the Beach Boys and good vibrations.
🔗 So I'm going to have. Not really. MARTIN Why he's morning Martin.
🔗 I'm on a good morning Martin. Seventy one to shop for a nomination.
🔗 Yes not props an obvious choice to like to nominate the walled garden at African
🔗 park. Oh now that's interesting
🔗 but we do like the less than obvious choices Terry tell me why the walled garden
🔗 asking and talk should be on the list.
🔗 Well it was brought back from the state of dereliction over the last.
🔗 Seven or eight years.
🔗 And it's just I volunteer there so I am biased
🔗 and I was wondering if you might say it's just a wonderful space.
🔗 It's so lovely to see people of all ages coming in
🔗 and taken enjoyment from it on so many different levels that.
🔗 Families with young children explaining to youngsters where the visit was come from
🔗 and how they grow older and you get the experts coming in
🔗 and giving their opinion and ask in very difficult questions.
🔗 And the just the other people who wander around and take it all
🔗 and because it was a bit neglected to feel is what I was in it was it was like if
🔗 you go get your go go there to see the pig.
🔗 And I was going to live for the not being to check out the wall garden
🔗 that thing apart kind of paint the picture first describe it for us. Well.
🔗 You come in through what I think is called the Repton.
🔗 that leads into the mangle which is on the whole dedicated vegetables
🔗 of any description and a variety of heritage varieties.
🔗 There is an amazing.
🔗 Border running down the center of the garden with fruit trees
🔗 to. Metalwork construction.
🔗 The fruit trees all around the walls.
🔗 You can lead into the frame the arm which has.
🔗 A large greenhouse is going to Martha's melon.
🔗 Flowers absolutely wonderful.
🔗 Every week.
🔗 The next.
🔗 What do you get out of volunteering there what do you love about being a volunteer
🔗 in the well it's fabulous.
🔗 And it's just working with different.
🔗 Public wonderful people in the country.
🔗 OK so the walled garden I think in part.
🔗 We're going to put that on the on the list of potential contenders Republicans
🔗 and going to more than seven of this race.
🔗 It's hard to choose isn't it.
🔗 There's so much great stuff here it is genuinely hard to choose.
🔗 Martin thank you very much for that Marty thank you bye.
🔗 Vince says a Martin
🔗 and immigrant to worship her from Lancashire Vince is also an immigrant to shop
🔗 here from London ventures an email.
🔗 There are so many wonderful beautiful interesting things to do
🔗 and see in the county. If pushed I would say there is one place
🔗 that sums up the beauty of Shropshire for me every time I have friends come to stay.
🔗 I make sure I take them to the boathouse pub intro's pre.
🔗 We sit in the garden at dusk and look out on to the quarry and the river. Seven.
🔗 While nursing a point whether it's a tree lined view of the Welsh bridge people
🔗 playing jogging or walking in the park rows on the river
🔗 or just the view up the river towards Colin we often sit in silence for a while
🔗 just taking in this most beautiful of scenes then says events
🔗 and this is almost a universal reaction.
🔗 I see a smile play across my visitors face and I can see that they get it.
🔗 When says it never fails to remind me how lucky I am to live in a town with such
🔗 stunning scenery a vibrant social scene historic buildings and amazing pay.
🔗 No vent. Thank you. Sister.
🔗 We're never going to the second Vine the list is just seven way.
🔗 So the seven
🔗 or indeed really wonders of Shropshire What do you think should be on the list to
🔗 tell Jim look in your story. I want seven four three two four right. Three two one.
🔗 The thing. Radia shops with Harry King Two
🔗 and A from six is a great song next best thing to the is from a you played any
🔗 disco day didn't you.
🔗 I can't tell you how many times he said
🔗 getting up on a comfy chair eating plan on B.B.C.
🔗 Radio Shropshire did you get after it can you play thirty. Yeah.
🔗 And then sometimes you did it because the very first night I may ask you for some
🔗 and then they say you're rubbish Europe which you base your marriage in command from
🔗 sitting on B.B.C.
🔗 Radio from him in the morning trying to be part of the county scene right.
🔗 So one of the Shropshire.
🔗 Abdullahi says the I wonder shopper is the heritage tomatoes in my polytunnel.
🔗 I'm curious as to what heritage tomatoes might be meantime Trixie's in Wellington
🔗 morning Trixie Good morning.
🔗 What should be on the list of the wonders a shop
🔗 that rocks it's a Roman remains are tell me why.
🔗 Because I'm a witch the children and ourselves indeed about history
🔗 and it's words on a page but when you go to Rock City you stand there
🔗 and you think just they really were here they lived to work at this was the it's
🔗 And it can be quite startling to have the experience kind of specially in a field
🔗 in the middle of in the middle of essentially them nowhere a long way away from
🔗 another open environment. Yet it's so it's amazing and.
🔗 All right Alison next a little cold.
🔗 I think but sometimes children need things to be brought to life.
🔗 They need to be real not just something they've seen in the book couldn't can't
🔗 imagine but you want them there are they there.
🔗 And so rocks
🔗 that are rocks to roam around the Rock rocks Roman cities going on the list as far
🔗 as you're concerned in this is OK. Trixie thank you very much for that.
🔗 That's OK Thank you. Traditional that P.J. Says.
🔗 Surely the giant made Wrekin should be on there
🔗 but we also have so many beautiful spots like carving Mill Valley in the long
🔗 mineral by the Iron Bridge
🔗 or Shrewsbury Abbey to see how could he possibly narrow it down to a list of just
🔗 seven one of them the trip to what should not be off the list of what has to be on
🔗 the list to someone with a truck.
🔗 I won seven four three two four eight three two one call me a B.B.C.
🔗 you bring
🔗 your ideas like the doctor
🔗 when you're in love with the beautiful woman.
🔗 What should be a list of the Seven Wonders we're never going to give you the seven
🔗 by the way of shopping.
🔗 John and Dorothy said baby she wrote in shop you should be on the list.
🔗 You keep us up to the end of the time wherever we are in the world.
🔗 Thank you very much for coming. But I think other suggestions.
🔗 Sally in Telford Hoxton park should be one of the Seven Wonders of the rock
🔗 formations and the graduation of Follies just Absolutely.
🔗 Sally in Telford Johnny you know can gauge the iron bridge in by
🔗 and bridge along main says pole in Donington your suggestion text me one three
🔗 double three starting a text with the word Shrub a mile. Jim dot Holkins at B.B.C.
🔗 Doco dot you can say
🔗 that the easiest way to getting in touch is just to call I one seven four three two
🔗 four eight three two one. I want seven four three two four three two one.
🔗 What would you nominate as one of the Seven Wonders we're going to have I mean
🔗 we're using seven because you know there are some underworld thing
🔗 but to be honest we can't possibly live it limited to.
🔗 So rather than just a role in trying to be frankly impracticable Why not just make
🔗 the list as long as we can I. One seven four three two four three two one.
🔗 Someone to shortchange Jane says the Wrekin the Iron Bridge
🔗 and the Iron Bridge gorge
🔗 and maybe less obviously she suggests Lord Hill's column in tres brave the tallest
🔗 Doric column in the world says Jane Jane thank you very much for that we'll put
🔗 that on but that
🔗 and this is what Melissa going to end up being being singularly long as I think
🔗 most will give up on the idea of doing a seven wonders.
🔗 when there's no way we're going to limit it to seven one days how could you possibly
🔗 choose just the seven.
🔗 You're going to say I know a little later on this morning after ten o'clock we all
🔗 went on the way with the mid morning.
🔗 Olympics the idea of the midmorning not quite the Olympics is
🔗 that we know you are unlikely ever to win an actual real genuine a limp medal so
🔗 we're offering you the chance to get on the podium
🔗 and claim an imaginary non-existent one.
🔗 What is today's event I'll tell you a tell you in a few minutes in the meantime
🔗 time he's in Dolly morning time. Now she isn't OK. Where she is but I'm not.
🔗 Oh no you're not she's again moaning Pam.
🔗 Good morning to you and no sleep
🔗 but it doesn't matter ten times he praised it well you know what's what does late
🔗 does really. So if you go in and say time nominated is when luck edge when luck.
🔗 A.J. And especially because my just sleep.
🔗 I don't know if you know if I don't tell me about my just leap.
🔗 It's something I cherish
🔗 but not blissfully Yeah there used to be a place called Quest hope
🔗 but it's still there but the house of God
🔗 and then you go on to watch east open church directness him between presto CONY
🔗 stuck to the right hand side and there's a little play by. Bucket cars.
🔗 And then you climb up this tiny little mind the view is absolutely fantastic.
🔗 Do we know why it's called mages look I love the old legend goes
🔗 that obviously the major on the horse went up there one day and went over the top.
🔗 Now whether that's the exact truth I don't know but that's true.
🔗 Not a does the kind of place that attracts legends isn't it.
🔗 Obviously And another reason has I was blown
🔗 that we're not actually actually on the major leagues carrots are going to surprise
🔗 everybody. It's a little program called East a little place called the Stoke
🔗 or rotary Stoke where it's because it's between pressed open a stoke
🔗 that a newborn at least oh yeah I was many moons ago where I let on the family
🔗 and I've still got a daughter lives in church that. Right.
🔗 Of course that's another most beautiful place isn't it just there.
🔗 So the birth place marriages leap and
🔗 when Wenlock edge in general may actually in particular it's going to go on the
🔗 list. That's it. Jim Thank you Pam the program. Thank you very much to have time.
🔗 Thank you. What do you think should be on the list of wonders
🔗 or shops are given up saying seven because there's no way we're going to limit it
🔗 when luggage and in particular may just leap says Pam what about you.
🔗 I want seven four three two four eight three two one zero zero pm to be
🔗 travelling from B.B.C. News from here and his carer. Thank you very much.
🔗 Well it is still a little bit life for you if you are having three Telford
🔗 Queensway Yes live on the show but roundabout down towards those very words
🔗 and how the hell is I just remind us
🔗 that Goebbels implies the I five tonight at the Preston doubleton a broom whole
🔗 line if you see a problem.
🔗 Call us on i double three I WANT A three thirty five fifty Chiara glory I say
🔗 B.B.C. Radio show shade travel. Thank you Kara.
🔗 I'm so sorry we're well on the way with the mid-morning a lympics we know you are
🔗 unlikely ever to get your hands on a real genuine original Olympic medal so this is
🔗 your chance to get on the podium to win the May magine every nonexistent one in a
🔗 particularly unusual fatuous event.
🔗 What is today's mid-morning Olympics event is temp the midmorning the lympics of
🔗 then number five the long distance road
🔗 Like the cycling road race except it involves motors
🔗 and you've already done it there with me.
🔗 The long distance road race requires competitors to have a look in their vehicle
🔗 and make a note of the mileage.
🔗 You must then tell radio trucks.
🔗 And the vehicle which is done the most miles will win gold the runner up will get
🔗 silver and third place will get the brown one except
🔗 that I must specify we aren't actually giving away any real medals.
🔗 It is all just for fun
🔗 and quite frankly if we did have medals are they walking around the office like Mr
🔗 T. Argue wouldn't get a look in so far as your car
🔗 or bike travelled in its lifetime Go on go for gold in the long distance road race
🔗 going to find this after ten o'clock
🔗 but this is your chance to get your coal in now for today's mid-morning Olympics
🔗 the long distance road race your car your van your bike have a look at the trip
🔗 make of the Adamah to how far has your vehicle travelled if you want to benchmark
🔗 you think well you have mines that are going to OK.
🔗 On my entry for this is my car which is done seventy nine thousand miles.
🔗 OK my cast on seventy nine thousand miles so.
🔗 Even I could get in the middle of that
🔗 but I'm not going to exceed your cost on more than that if your car your van
🔗 or your motorbike has clocked up more than seventy nine thousand miles thank colas
🔗 is the number hardly used to call Jim Hawkins now on one simple three to four way
🔗 street. The one B.B.C.
🔗 Radio shredder morning lympics a bit lighter in the meantime more of the wonders of
🔗 structure next to Justin Timberlake on B.B.C. Radio subject.
🔗 I got this.
🔗 the cat.
🔗 this is
🔗 I can't stop
🔗 Radio York County Justin Timberlake with a link
🔗 the voice of shop Chef Jim Hawkins in the morning on B.B.C.
🔗 Radio shops were given up on the idea there only being seven wonders or shops
🔗 or we are never ever going to be able to limit it to just seven wonders. Delia is.
🔗 Telford morning daily are allowed Milo. Oh ano.
🔗 Come on then you know your nomination and the quarry.
🔗 Of the right the quarry in interest for yes OK this is Eric suggested as well
🔗 actually live on each of these I know the feeling you know the feeling to
🔗 Yes A Tell me tell you why the quarry tell me why the quarry wonderful is hard work.
🔗 It's put in not glory. It's absolutely wonderful.
🔗 You know and they they they surprise me like all right.
🔗 And you know it's wonderful. Really I can't say much more because I'm not God no.
🔗 But it's one of those things that you do you just know you love it.
🔗 You know I love doing that. I don't sit is the words don't I don't use.
🔗 Well which we used to smoke when I used to sit unique.
🔗 You know you just set the wonder of it. Yeah yeah yeah.
🔗 And there are so many places where you can do just
🔗 that in the interim period hard to do the daily Thank you thank you very much for
🔗 that you're out because daily Thank you.
🔗 Loads nominations coming in by text too including Church Stretton
🔗 and carving Mill Valley.
🔗 Tony in Boston Hill says the Treasury steam rally has to be in the top of the list.
🔗 We're going to going to put events. Going to put events in the in the one disrupt.
🔗 I'm going to push race refight festival in there as well I think Sarah from Twitch
🔗 and says Harry Tuffin should be one hundred jumps
🔗 or Sue in Newport says Aquila a mere The secret like the largest interruption
🔗 teaming with wonderful birds. We have a secret lake. That I didn't know about.
🔗 Structures like district aka the area around to straiten not actually the area
🔗 around Ellesmere somewhere else.
🔗 Some of this is actually what started this off until this whole thing really with
🔗 having shown BURKE A from from from for council saying
🔗 that he believes Els made to be world class as he puts it for other nominations.
🔗 Paul says there are. Too many wonders and places I couldn't bear to forget.
🔗 I'll come back to shop here after a career in the R.A.F. and Relaxed.
🔗 I would say though Shrewsbury in its entirety phrase pretty in its entirety is a
🔗 wonderful place to come home take says Paul Paul thank you so much.
🔗 Jackie unduely Seven Wonders shop just like district Ellesmere Coleman Newton Mayor
🔗 white mayor Blake make kettle mayor and Crossmen all surrounding the areas
🔗 or elsewhere where Sharpton and coke shot Jackie
🔗 and Ollie grew up in the middle of all of that lineal Charlie
🔗 and Ollie suggest the sandstone Aqueduct in Telford it may not be in perfect
🔗 condition at the moment but it is a true wonder.
🔗 So what would you suggest should be on the list.
🔗 We've long since given up the idea
🔗 that could there be any seven of the list of wonders of Shropshire I want seven
🔗 four three two four eight three two one text me two one three double three star
🔗 eight X. With the word shrub or Sam email to. Jim dot Hawkins at B.B.C.
🔗 Doco dot you can
🔗 the way
🔗 It goes down
🔗 with check out the dog show
🔗 a week Vegas Club
🔗 is out.
🔗 He came out with one of the ladies
🔗 a Friday night with this
🔗 outfit with
🔗 moment he
🔗 out these are showing them under the shore.
🔗 OK Alex says I nominate the people I'm strong as a ruler found them welcoming
🔗 and warm hearted and generous.
🔗 Steve nominates Martin would the tallest encore in the world as one of the wonders
🔗 of Shropshire. I won seven four three two four three two one.
🔗 Jim don't Holkins
🔗 and Baby Say Doc I don't EK Sammy text I won three double three starting a text
🔗 with a word shrub
🔗 and bridge goes in the area around Acton Scott says the rumbly fly a remark in
🔗 Rockford on suggest Telford town park
🔗 and Romanesque life was to nominate the viewpoint. Nationally fail having.
🔗 So many of these come
🔗 when they were after record some people just to give them a chance to get on the
🔗 air. I think. It is. Tough times.
🔗 Because it doesn't mean.
🔗 We have lots and lots of objections.
🔗 So it's wonderful to see.
🔗 Sort of imbedded in the truth to come
🔗 and then your nomination for a wonder of Shropshire also
🔗 that because the long distance road race is today's mid-morning not quite the
🔗 Olympics event we're looking for the vehicle in Trump here
🔗 that has traveled the fur this got the highest reading on its millimeter.
🔗 The benchmark is mine which is seventy nine thousand Mark Austin seventy nine
🔗 thousand miles. If your car all van
🔗 or bike has clocked up substantially more than
🔗 that get on the fast had your say call Jim Hawkins now on one simple three to four
🔗 way street. Q One B.B.C. Radio show on George's inhales now in morning George.
🔗 One morning George. What you want to nominate. The Stipe or stones.
🔗 OK Tell me why this type of sound deserves to be on the list for a friend of life
🔗 that they can work for if you like magic.
🔗 It gets a real special really special places they want to feel like
🔗 when you're out there. Everything.
🔗 Are wonderful. OK children are wonderful.
🔗 You've got a Georgian house though and that is definitely on the list.
🔗 Thanks Michael. I one seven four three two four eight three two one.
🔗 E B C introducing the brakes aren't about to play you the brand new shop here song.
🔗 That is the trumpeter song of the month for Paul good to get
🔗 these clues just.
🔗 Mike O'Neill is a singer songwriter from Telford course and that is are for.
🔗 Some of the introducing a
🔗 little B.B.C.
🔗 Radio a number of
🔗 Radio Talk to spend some time running any one does a show up here this is a bell.
🔗 So this is unless he says it's a bit different. It might be a lot different.
🔗 As far as one of those is still there
🔗 but Chinese food from a Korean seismic craving it was called the bank
🔗 and it was stock two miles comp a lie to largest one of a court was there a sense
🔗 of a deep casting in the countryside with little
🔗 or no light pollution it's the most peaceful setting.
🔗 There's no cars near it a delightful place less Thank you. What a great suggestion.
🔗 of attention
🔗 Who's with
🔗 If you
🔗 whom to use
🔗 and you can call me Al a little malicious one deserves a trip to Coney Island
🔗 of the Roman city in the rocks
🔗 and likewise Adrian Covert telling it as a stream only call because what a
🔗 beautiful place even for toughing show Bree I think most of my summer holidays are
🔗 spent less as a little show Hill says the rain in Telford I have no chance of
🔗 providing a definitive list of this is that so many are they all been so good.

🔗 Yes I've got a ninety ninety victory shocker with a hundred thirty nine thousand on

🔗 So the sure Rocco is there is that OK pay the T. Five I was a van. Yes.
🔗 Is it kind of modded and and and tricked out the way some people do their V.W.
🔗 Vans or is it the sort of it's sort of a Dave Van Van Van if you know the main

🔗 OK so it's one hundred seventy nine thousand nine hundred seventy on the combi
🔗 hundred hundred seventy on the van. OK that's pretty distant really isn't it.
🔗 Not too bad for new now.
🔗 Now not
🔗 that one on forty we are couldn't afford a brand new ones right about second

🔗 OK And it's still going fine under seventy thousand miles yeah bang on.
🔗 OK In which case we will put you on the list at one hundred seventy thousand miles
🔗 you long since stopped my my my benchmark which is it was seventy nine thousand.
🔗 So you left that way behind one hundred seventy thousand
🔗 and then there would be a V.W. T five combi that that's the current leader.
🔗 But John we wait to see if you're going to be if you're going to be deposed from

🔗 or so Frank is in George's morning Frank good morning Frank.
🔗 Can you get anywhere near hundred seventy Year hundred seventy thousand.
🔗 You know I have got a thirty two year old. Right which is only forty.
🔗 Should I tell this is that this is the this is the obvious what we're after.
🔗 And what is the color the thirty two year old cause I don't forty thousand miles to
🔗 mark one Vauxhall Astra G L sixty hundred.
🔗 And how come it's not really gone anywhere.
🔗 After him and we see now if it was there.
🔗 Why I bought it for the wife originally here.
🔗 Have a slight accident she couldn't write
🔗 or say it's great but when you come to park it it is a bit of a you know what.
🔗 Brian K. Said but you
🔗 but you still kept it does it get much of a run out on the road six months. Right.
🔗 And it goes to quite shows.
🔗 I suppose now between six six hundred thousand
🔗 Every six months or so forty thousand miles in thirty two years.
🔗 Yes OK So that's that's the of Bursa what we're after.
🔗 But frankly that could be in front of special commendation if you like in one way
🔗 or another if you if your vehicle I was top two hundred seventy thousand miles
🔗 thank you Frank.
🔗 I won seven four three two four three two one call us if you don't like.
🔗 You know

🔗 Are you know are very careful sections here
🔗 You know my if you
🔗 even say to those where could I give you
🔗 YOU GIVE ME
🔗 or I
🔗 give you.
🔗 your editor John Legend
🔗 and that's all of me Jim Hawkins in the morning on B.B.C.
🔗 Radio shops. So a long distance road race.
🔗 Today's mid-morning not quite a lympics event your road vehicle how far has it
🔗 traveled in total benchmark at the moment one hundred seventy thousand miles.
🔗 John eleven gauges B.W.T.
🔗 Five Philip is interval morning Philip Morris morning Philip your
🔗 and your your entry for a can you get there.
🔗 So we can get in the middle table and what's what's your entry.
🔗 One hundred seventy six thousand three hundred twenty one miles one hundred seventy
🔗 six thousand three hundred twenty one.
🔗 OK So
🔗 that definitely put you one place higher up the table than John what's the vehicle
🔗 in question. It's a hundred C.
🔗 Ave sixteen seventeen years old nine hundred ninety nine registration.
🔗 And so it's that's actually quite more or less average mileage really isn't it.
🔗 Possible Yeah me and my wife and I moved to and Alison Spann
🔗 and two thousand and sex and travelled of Ireland
🔗 and we left Africa goes back about eighteen months ago into town
🔗 and into a property and like more.
🔗 So it's got all of this pain with us how it's external monitor
🔗 and see in quite a lot of span and Portugal temperament.
🔗 Tell me about moving to and the Lucy what took you there.
🔗 And for that matter what brought you back.
🔗 I mean apart from apart from the car obviously Yeah well my wife
🔗 and I retired early on
🔗 when we decided to have a move into somewhere like Spain which is something
🔗 that came until I had Yeah actually I was thinking a very gentle Island.
🔗 Well I said it rains too much. That's so funny for.
🔗 So we had a look at some property is right in the southern part of our knowledge
🔗 here right on the borders of the Algarve on a gull complex which I used to play a
🔗 lot of golf loved it very very Spanish.
🔗 Almost decided immediately to sort of. Move. By house.
🔗 And we lived there for eight years a wonderful time. But what POINT is back.
🔗 What we laughingly daughters and we've now got three daughters
🔗 and two granddaughters so right I see.
🔗 The family grow up you don't see a lot of them even though obviously Spain is
🔗 fairly easy to get it is days
🔗 but it's not the same as actually living here they live in what church
🔗 and so that's that's what that's what brought you back to your hundred one hundred
🔗 seventy three thousand.
🔗 Now one seventy six three twenty one one seven six three hundred twenty.
🔗 Yeah just put it side and just look at it because I actually saw the other day.
🔗 It's going to do two hundred thousand I'm sure it's going to two hundred thousand
🔗 because they enjoy it is because it's you know the car is absolutely incredible.
🔗 And I mean if I could afford another hand. I would buy one.
🔗 All of this is there all the harm the weather sort of away at the back which Yep.
🔗 I think looks more like a four by four than a lot of them on the current of the
🔗 series. He's done hundred seventy six thousand or already.
🔗 I don't you know you can a need to buy one for a little while to which model might
🔗 work out hundreds favor but it works in yours.
🔗 But I will wear both sort of seventy years elements so who knows.
🔗 I mean to be honest with you and then Texas have a LAN and I go fishing a lot
🔗 and down on the river SAP and it's got room. Broner starts with it so yeah it's.
🔗 And yes I mean we've got a we've got an ordinary sector that we have
🔗 that was lost and abandoned in Portugal
🔗 and so she's come back where there's no relief.
🔗 She says she's found it a little difficult to get about
🔗 and soccer to come by around. So she can work OK. Oh bless the dog ramp. Yeah.
🔗 Now and I see it.
🔗 So she's wonderful as she was abandoned some property in Portugal
🔗 and there was an Irish Setter rescue center in Malaga which is a long way away
🔗 but yeah they got in and bought a wash.
🔗 To load up because family left calcite we were at the national one internally last
🔗 Wed and our diaries that are in the guide
🔗 and we adopted this one puppy.
🔗 So the two of you and Poppy and the hundred seventy six thousand plus now on
🔗 that you're definitely on the list. Philip thank you very much for that.
🔗 How far is your vehicle done can you top one hundred seventy six thousand on the
🔗 millimeter I want seven four three two four eight three two one summer
🔗 and radiation currently roughly with this absolutely free majestic cinema
🔗 original twenty tickets please at seven o'clock.
🔗 If you want to pull up in seventy percent the Army's noise
🔗 but if you've got something from the seventy's on first of all the platforms up
🔗 about six
🔗 but even greater to change the light bulbs in A then we would never fill in the
🔗 summer on B.B.C.
🔗 Radio from the rocky with one.
🔗 Radio talk show radio guy go just come face to face with his mid-morning not
🔗 quite the Olympics event involving your car or your family
🔗 or your truck or your motor bike or your bus for whatever vehicle in trouble.
🔗 It's got the highest reading on the millimeter like I thought
🔗 but I thought we'd kind of eliminate this the the the the kind of non contenders
🔗 with mine my car some seventy nine thousand miles and then we were just
🔗 that was just left in the dust by people at one hundred thirty thousand one hundred
🔗 fifty thousand one hundred seventy thousand miles
🔗 and the current meter got the current leader eight hundred seventy six thousand
🔗 three hundred miles. But is that going to stay in the medal table.
🔗 I won seven four three two four eight three two one.
🔗 Tell me how far your vehicle is gone.
🔗 May have a potential gold medalist in Robert from Canada.
🔗 You'll find out in a minute if he's traveling from the US from here
🔗 down here Dave
🔗 and there's a build up traffic on the eighty five as you pass Cabo in the
🔗 northbound side between Also strange looking very busy
🔗 and the north a five approach in the Marlon Brown the bout of history is queuing
🔗 for a mile up towards the island.
🔗 You'll find a four five eight batting turn a slow three roadworks if you heading
🔗 out towards Welshpool just look out for
🔗 that also road works on the A forty nine I had no some temperature lights
🔗 controlling traffic.
🔗 So looking at fairly slow through there at the moment
🔗 and do expect delays in Shrewsbury today
🔗 and tomorrow because of the flower show which is now on the way at the quarry sent
🔗 Chata terrace on town walls is closed so through traffic is able to use a high
🔗 street or Sinchon Still if you are heading to the flower show.
🔗 There are temporary car parks that brick road filled
🔗 and the shop show ground is also a park
🔗 and light service running every ten to fifteen minutes and oxen mill breaks
🔗 and holes
🔗 that if you see a problem call the sides three three zero one two three thirty five
🔗 fifty standard B.B.C.
🔗 Radio sharpshooter Thank you guys mid morning Olympics long distance road race
🔗 Robert is in can acknowledge Robert's. Morning run but I'm fine.
🔗 So you have a contender possible medal contender for the long distance road race.
🔗 Tell us about it.
🔗 Like an eight hundred.
🔗 It's not right. X.
🔗 Sales manager when he had a dramatic three months
🔗 and I was in the same. Spot fifteen sixteen years old man.
🔗 So it was it was kind of it was a demonstrator type car basically
🔗 and then I had about three or four thousand miles on the clock. And in that time.
🔗 How long how many more miles to be put on it.
🔗 Five hundred seventy nine thousand has it up to five hundred eighty two thousand
🔗 some odd.
🔗 So the moderator on your percent read five hundred eighty two thousand miles.
🔗 Yet it's made those parts a heck of a title for fifteen years. Where were you.
🔗 Where do you guys. Where do you go from all.
🔗 Well I live just very just outside Church Stretton a case to travel to Stoke on
🔗 Trent than I was travelling the world every day and knocking him every day
🔗 and also travelling to different sites.
🔗 So I was clocking up fifty fifty five thousand miles a year but it's a stop now.
🔗 It's a convenient forty thousand miles a year
🔗 and I'm right back to quell the cars being an absolute gem.
🔗 It runs as sweet as an art it's serviced by my local garage which I'm not sure
🔗 whether I'm allowed to go on.
🔗 I think it's like a six hundred thousand mile around the road I going deserve a
🔗 mention Longman the station which also ties in various bits of the
🔗 tires and may have always provided me with a really good.
🔗 This is a if you want to revise something like my Grandad bike which you got no
🔗 need for a new wheels and everything but it was still technically as bike
🔗 or you still basically the same car you bought fifteen years ago.
🔗 It's the same car as I bought fifteen years ago.
🔗 The engine has had what you had then you have a new
🔗 one hundred forty and it's still on the same but the engine itself.
🔗 Has had no work whatsoever done on it
🔗 and in fact the number of people have told they need to get in touch with
🔗 and let them know it's really what the vehicles done because as you say there's a
🔗 lot of cars on the high mileage that essentially.
🔗 Rebuilds Yes this is all the original parts and
🔗 and there are a lot of not coming in many that approach
🔗 that kind of galactic my mind all the other ones I've ever heard of
🔗 that have done a been diesels or has a patch turbo petrol
🔗 and it's lasted all this time yet and it does it
🔗 when I have the car about the fact it sings about a point
🔗 or will three thousand miles in space a Volkswagen about.
🔗 I may say that's fine.
🔗 It's as if you could manage
🔗 and it certainly has an external about a pint for me considering it's a car
🔗 that's been on the road for six hundred.
🔗 That's just shy of six hundred thousand miles.
🔗 Then the point of oil every so often something you can live with long.
🔗 But it's exactly the same as it used when I first had a car when it was brand new.
🔗 And it. There's no smoke in the exhaust absolutely nothing. That's an dagger ing.
🔗 Five hundred ninety two thousand miles is that right.
🔗 Five hundred eighty five hundred eighty two thousand miles but.
🔗 I was told up to two hundred fifty thousand you need to get rid of because it's
🔗 going to start costing you or it's going to break down
🔗 and whatever YOU LISTEN TO DO you mean
🔗 that sounds like sensible advice once you contemplate a quarter of a million miles
🔗 in a car.
🔗 Most people might think well you know this is going to this is going to start
🔗 costing your of the Piper and so.
🔗 The only thing is if you talk about buying new car new car.
🔗 You've got to clean against it was a car
🔗 that got heated leather seats and all sunroof
🔗 and went all the rest of it so it drives really well
🔗 and it's really cheap Mansouri. Armoring asked for any more.
🔗 Come on you really can't five hundred ninety two eighty two eighty.
🔗 Four hundred eighty two thousand miles.
🔗 I think if I would be I would be staggered if we got a gold medalist on on the air
🔗 who could top that.
🔗 So I think I would be correct in the only imagine you're going to be on the podium
🔗 where another rubber thank you very much for that is right but
🔗 that is the new benchmark five hundred eighty two thousand miles is the current
🔗 leader. Then
🔗 and then there's a great big gap until you get like the OP one hundred thousand.
🔗 How many miles your car truck van bike would have a dime Your Say Jim Hawkins now
🔗 on one simple three to four way street scene one B.B.C. Radio show.
🔗 Radio Shack where is the long distance road rash How
🔗 far is your vehicle travels.
🔗 We have had some absolutely amazing titles.
🔗 Some of the others call it in action as a year two thousand and two Jag us.
🔗 First one hundred twenty one hundred thirty two thousand miles.
🔗 Martin injuries break his cars to ninety eight thousand nine hundred eighteen miles
🔗 not ninety nine thousand miles not yet crossed one hundred thousand barrier which
🔗 is twenty thousand for the my customer.
🔗 However his is a nine hundred thirty six Morris eight which kind of sets it apart.
🔗 Who also we had we've had Kevin from Liverpool is currently doing a job in Telford
🔗 two thousand
🔗 and eight Monday old one hundred ninety thousand Adrian Telford as a Mitsubishi
🔗 list on two hundred sixteen two hundred seventeen. Thousand.
🔗 Mike's truck.
🔗 Three truck of time three hundred forty thousand one hundred ninety seven miles
🔗 takes in crossed out this morning Ted.
🔗 Well you know we monitor on fire and if we have a bit of a problem.
🔗 It'd be better insofar as we've got some people calling in
🔗 and telling us about their cars.
🔗 Mr got some people are getting in touch and not coming on the air
🔗 but nevertheless telling about telling us about their cars
🔗 and some of them are some some of those are clocking absolutely astronomical models
🔗 are up. So we're just debating we might have two different sets of medals for on
🔗 or off the air but you're on the air.
🔗 So what can you give us a low score but we're asked rage. Yes.
🔗 And it's done well over six hundred thousand mark on up to seven thousand now
🔗 that he's one of the first the same engine still with the same engine still the
🔗 same engine these things a lot of regulation for service now at the moment diesel
🔗 or petrol or diesel today so that's one of the first Octavius cars I bought an X.
🔗 Ray truck to be a new it lasted eighty thousand miles.
🔗 But I think I actually got four of my current cars gone so yours is done well as it
🔗 is it takes a lot of nursing to get
🔗 that far is it just like a reliable this very well I run it every day.
🔗 Should say twenty thirty forty mile a day.
🔗 Yeah every day you know it is perfect runs like a bird.
🔗 And so it isn't not which is what twenty odd years old or.
🔗 Well the first bridge so I don't know all
🔗 that is coming out of Canada twenty years out.
🔗 So how did you manage to clock up seventy thousand seven hundred thousand miles a
🔗 minute just usage of it.
🔗 Yeah yeah I go on all over the country
🔗 and everywhere you know it's just just one of those things
🔗 and so I go to Octavia Etheridge go to A.B.S. Seven hundred thousand miles.
🔗 I can't you can't get my service. But the people look after it pretty for me live.
🔗 Gentleman or just looked after. Well yes yes.
🔗 Ted are you may well be in the metals
🔗 that this right to be something for somebody
🔗 that well we've had we've had one. Well actually we met them.
🔗 I've not on the air in a moment to be perfectly honest.
🔗 And we've had we've had one which I might tell you about in the meantime telling
🔗 cross as we go seven hundred thousand mile Octavia thank you.
🔗 I want seven four three two four three two one long distance road race.
🔗 How far has your vehicle traveled. We've had people on the air.
🔗 We've had people getting in touch.
🔗 Not on the air and the telling us about half of their lives back a list travel.
🔗 I've got to tell you got to tell you.
🔗 I'll tell you about the one that's currently off air in the lead.
🔗 Romanesque cliff. Tells us he's sixty one plate truck.
🔗 Now that's not all was clocked up more than eight hundred fifty thousand miles
🔗 more than a hundred fifty thousand miles.
🔗 So I'm not sure we grow as you can do about metal say because
🔗 that would put rhymin gold and Ted in silver.
🔗 Unless of course you know otherwise I won seven four three two four three two one.
🔗 But similar to reading on your car truck van my bike.
🔗 And one
🔗 hundred eighty eight
🔗 when I
🔗 thankful I am
🔗 thank you
🔗 thank you
🔗 hugged a
🔗 C.B.C. Radio show.
🔗 Reach out to those mid-morning
🔗 lympics to take those mid-morning a lympics event is the long distance road race.
🔗 It's not you it's your vehicle.
🔗 Your car or your van or your truck or your bus or your motorbike however.
🔗 Whichever it is in trouble has traveled the further east. We want to hear from you.
🔗 I want seven four three two four eight three two one currently Mike in cross
🔗 houses X X red Octavia seven hundred thousand miles Roman in next cliff sixty one
🔗 plate truck. He's driving in the motor I don't know what brand of these
🔗 but he's done one hundred eighty eight hundred fifty one thousand four hundred
🔗 forty eight miles where it had been a go in touch with Mike is intro three morning
🔗 Mike. Morning Mike. I'm fine.
🔗 Tell me what the vehicle is first of all the stretch an X.
🔗 Ridgeland DAF truck So again coming up to twenty years out. Yes.
🔗 Is it a pickup is it a ten ton truck.
🔗 OK. On a rigid and. What does the what does on my lawnmower to read my.
🔗 Seven hundred seventy eight miles right.
🔗 This second time around the clock here. Really.
🔗 Yes I know right.
🔗 Well I can see what's what do you carry
🔗 and what kind of journeys do you do to rack up
🔗 that amazing mileage we carry anything with general all the technique all over the
🔗 country quite right.
🔗 So in less than two in less than twenty years your truck has done one
🔗 million. Yes three hundred seventy eight thousand miles. Yes.
🔗 That is fifty five times around the earth.
🔗 Yes Yes that's right that's absolutely star
🔗 and it's British built did it did it has it taken a lot of maintenance to keep it
🔗 going on that.
🔗 No no just or no more train that you short checks and you use your tires
🔗 and everything. Yeah let's all keep it maintained get a minute drive away.
🔗 Add to the total of one million three hundred seventy eight thousand.
🔗 Yes that's right. Yes Miles. Mike.
🔗 OK We're we're going to definitely bring the curtain down on this because there
🔗 will be a there will be a medal ceremony in a few minutes
🔗 and I think Mike you're going to be a top of the podium.
🔗 That's astonishing thank you so much for that. Thanks to Mark thank you.

🔗 Let's find out what he's been up to it was exciting to me the celebrity chef at the
🔗 shows be slasher in the past of Republicans but nothing is best for me.
🔗 Give me a skin disease. Welcome welcome welcome to shows resist the first trick.
🔗 It is actually I'm pretty rubbish I'm saying on the drive up here
🔗 that I'm pretty hopeless I'm so good at very south England and very very no less.
🔗 But this is like a new land for me it's beautiful.
🔗 You're a bit of a different celebrity on if we just briefly go through your history
🔗 will start with punk rock psyche of Ailey tattoos piercing cookery school celebrity
🔗 status how do you go from punk rock it's a celebrity chef.
🔗 Yeah it's kind of what I think I think they're called How do you do it right is
🔗 quite a long drawn out story to kind of show I don't know I was always kind of I'm
🔗 from a very bohemian mum I was always going to be I was always to be a bit weird.
🔗 I have three sisters who it legally where it. We. I just love music.
🔗 My older sister so he's older than me. She went away came back with a cure.
🔗 She was twelve I was eight
🔗 and then I guess I got really heavily into music so fast forward.
🔗 To me being father started getting into heavy metal go into punk.
🔗 When I was about thirteen fourteen hanging out and London from London
🔗 and Piccadilly outing at Leicester street punks and I decided
🔗 that famous Probably but he.
🔗 And I ended up liking scooped up
🔗 and looked as well as if I could Billy's And yeah I did I love I love music I love
🔗 kind of I love alternative stuff you know I'm there I say I'm a bit of scenes are
🔗 pretty close are missing.
🔗 Really if I love I love so being part of something I guess.
🔗 The song ability influence you brought to celebrity chef thing is.
🔗 The moment you dressed in what basically was the sixty's like fifty's.
🔗 This is probably more Actually this is for the most forty's dress but I've had it.
🔗 Because that's the thing I always like militia play around with my clothes
🔗 and modernism but yeah.
🔗 Let me know that because I got also psychobilly I got into rockabilly
🔗 and then go into the sixty's Garge
🔗 and then for the has kind of like sixty's I had a beehive.
🔗 I had half a beehive and like red stripes and a red fringe and stuff
🔗 and I was like really.
🔗 So it sort of all actually had a big pink quest log them safeguards.
🔗 So you know I guess.
🔗 Yeah I've always had a before you know he's trying to describe you look for me.
🔗 Johnny Rock. I love that you can come again.
🔗 Oh that's right I'm going to try like I'm dressed up like an actor ladies day.
🔗 Normally I'm a lot go to the net but the show is the fashion I thought
🔗 and so you were the next
🔗 that was cookery Have you always had an interesting kookery managed to like merge
🔗 both of them. Yeah I always have troubles.
🔗 When I was a teenager she was in Thailand a lot of the time
🔗 and because she was away we looked off for somebody who I didn't really appreciate
🔗 that you can usually say she's a babe but she was not the best cook
🔗 and I miss my mom say mom's a phenomenal cook so she's thirty.
🔗 You know we would bond over her talking me through how to cook them for this is
🔗 what I was like fourteen years old and radiant I go to bed with cookery books
🔗 and get inspired so I was going to the next I got really familiar with with you
🔗 know we lived in patents and disappeared for road
🔗 and like you've got this amazing Middle Eastern area
🔗 and as likely as the Chinese shops and there's like sort of like
🔗 when I think area and so rather than shopping in the supermarkets.
🔗 I was shopping in the shops and because it was normal
🔗 and you know just playing around with loads of different wild ingredients we
🔗 travelled a lot of them was about a lot
🔗 and so you know my only sort of experiences with it was just getting ready stuck in
🔗 the food travel like matting radians like to see everything to be a celebrity chef
🔗 or look for preferred shows the flower shop here
🔗 and she's in conversation with your editor PM Terry you can hear more forgive me
🔗 after for me to go on B.B.C. Radio four.
🔗 It has
🔗 with whom
🔗 you see radiance of the boy meets girl waiting for stuff to fall so
🔗 that is the start of the show six flower shop one of the big questions always comes
🔗 out always who is going to be the celebrity chef this year it's good see him Your
🔗 initial visit the a new Harry has been having a chat with her about a very
🔗 distinctive style about how almost held them back in a career I wanted to write
🔗 when they but I didn't want to do it. I wanted to end my stripes.
🔗 So I was resisting for a long time and then
🔗 and the end you know people who are close to me just like thing by media you know
🔗 you really need to this might be like you know something
🔗 that you the universe is kind of like trying to push on you don't resist
🔗 but to you know where you something on the go so you know you.
🔗 Well they say like the House of these things become quite And like the Ramos a mess
🔗 like a luxury in London particularly in the very heavily tattooed rock Mody type
🔗 chest and I think what my stuff is at the very beginning is
🔗 that you know this is I almost ten years ago now say I don't know it was quite
🔗 weird because I was a gal and I looked Wade.
🔗 Covered in testes and you know people didn't really take it.
🔗 that I had this like fifty's sixty's look people so pretty in the rest of the domestic
🔗 goddess and obviously completely opposite you know I was I was a real chef
🔗 and I was you know wanting to you know I had my days off I was like.
🔗 That is a victory of you know learning how to make you know so this was kind of
🔗 that the things
🔗 that gave me cakes were completely the opposite of anything domestic.
🔗 Bridging that bike and I love making every now and then I'm annoyed you know
🔗 but I didn't want to that wasn't me.
🔗 I love doing all the crazy stuff I'm quite a tomboy.
🔗 So I was kind of weird people can kind of get it you know you look a certain way
🔗 and then you actually kind of people can put those two things together
🔗 but I yeah I mean eventually it.
🔗 Also fitted together now thankfully actually more in the last five years I've been
🔗 able to make it my own
🔗 and I've been people have accepted me for being a Kurd a good cook.
🔗 Now and you know.
🔗 I started I started doing pop up restaurants a very long time ago as well.
🔗 Probably about fifteen years ago.
🔗 And it was also one of the reasons I go sort of discovered was which is too weird
🔗 journeys. It's kind of to cruise know. That.
🔗 Yeah fellow people have said I mean I have an alternative view on a lot of a lot of
🔗 things that go on and I so I wanted I wanted to experience.
🔗 Going to bring something new into things. You know.
🔗 A them of the fact I did world stage.
🔗 You know at the very beginning
🔗 when I struggled a lot with people sort of telling me
🔗 that you know you have to show us the was always a thing and it made here
🔗 and I was a client Wow You know I'd be wealthy I grew up in Asia kind of high speed
🔗 and people are like
🔗 and I'm you know you're a white middle class guy you can say that
🔗 and a little bit because that kind of what I know
🔗 and this is what I cut my teeth on and I've also worked
🔗 and you know Asian restaurants and that's why I know you know
🔗 that you know people were really inhibiting about it and then me and also pushed
🔗 and pushed it. And we're going to break but big pop up I did
🔗 that was really successful as a single Cape Town and I did enjoy it.
🔗 It's probably buy it.
🔗 And then also
🔗 that I was asked to Korean food which is so weird because after trying for like so
🔗 long to be taking Asian food
🔗 but then you know the world became a much smaller place I think
🔗 when social media came in and people accepted.
🔗 You know that there is a much bigger world out there
🔗 and you just go for your passion
🔗 and see what you need to train more from the remarkable get the skin next off the
🔗 that big machine ready it's up to the.
🔗 sure it is OK for you listening to have things for a trillion parrying conversation
🔗 with the Erskin the celebrity chef at this year's propre flower show what can you
🔗 expect to see if you head down to the demo theater the Caesar.
🔗 Yeah I'm doing them inventing I guess I'm doing a combination of like loads of
🔗 things I love.
🔗 I think my Korean fried chicken
🔗 and chili which is probably I tried so hard not to have a signature dish
🔗 but actually now. I kind of had six
🔗 that the cream for chicken is definitely the one thing that really defines me
🔗 and you know it's a big trend in sort of New York and and I'm Cisco in L.A.
🔗 and Now it's here in London and I want people to see.
🔗 So delicious I love fried chicken.
🔗 Anyway I love the Asian side of sort of American fried chicken but the Asian stuff.
🔗 It's going really interesting stories OK if any amount.
🔗 I also write about health food because.
🔗 I did a show because of then about eight years ago now and that was
🔗 that opened up the fact that I'm Rochelle and I want became delicious food
🔗 that just happens to be healthy.
🔗 So it's a lot of looks around the world that cooking techniques and things
🔗 that naturally happen to be healthy rather than cutting corners
🔗 and using products that make things healthier.
🔗 You know I'm not part of the wellness provider whole I'm quite the contrary I'm
🔗 just looking naturally. To that naturally healthy.
🔗 You know that doesn't feel as he and just showing you a few tips you can do
🔗 and actually taking on some of these wellness things like spiral icing
🔗 and things like Cane you aren't showing you how you can actually make the.
🔗 Generalization the more how you should do them rather than you know I'm a believer
🔗 that having spaghetti bolognese on some calls yesterday is not dinner you know I
🔗 want to show you that we're going to do it.
🔗 We've been using paralyzing in restaurants for years and years and for a lot
🔗 that need not to mention very happy. It's.
🔗 As a machine and you put your vegetables through and it comes out like noodles.
🔗 And you know
🔗 when I was working in Russia as I was recording on the show up actually probably
🔗 about so nice and so makes this sort of like.
🔗 We were eating oysters with a cucumber and sort of.
🔗 Sour cream and caviar and Laos is running up and they were.
🔗 You know that's we've been using it for ages
🔗 and other health food industries taken on and and they suggest
🔗 that you know using quick jetty as a base.
🔗 Instead of pasta as some kind of substitute which is absolutely you know you know
🔗 it's going to fill up the big time and I'm show you how you can use
🔗 and how it should be used and how it's been used for years and may
🔗 and making it extra delicious. Well you.
🔗 First perform one a favor.
🔗 We call them Democrats and I'm like I'm going I'm just going on the show
🔗 and I'm saving.
🔗 I think you're desperate device rock N roll shot of ever met her I think
🔗 it's only ten o'clock right now so later his ears can celebrity chef
🔗 and this is right before him in the days I was born
🔗 when on the radio show we have already reached the point where my intervention such
🔗 as persist able to outperform human lives so they could be a change the rules on
🔗 the Bible.
🔗 Let's use whatever we can from the which case we have
🔗 them in the moment.
🔗 One hundred of us are able to free
🔗 but the thing is the start line you would not be winning the car in your car
🔗 from free on B.B.C.

🔗 Yeah OK well I will you can hear the whole thing in again in a few minutes from now.
🔗 But first on day one of the show the flower show B.B.C.
🔗 Where they shop in Perry has been taking a look at some of the one of the more
🔗 unusual stand stiff competition in the Corrie market this year the quarry market is
🔗 the part of the show again with a professional horticulturalists compete.
🔗 Just to put it into perspective there are eighteen Chelsea Flower Show win is here
🔗 competing today the second placed in the entire Corrie market for best display
🔗 went to Mike King.
🔗 Now Mike is from shop just Cyrus Ynys seniors here see things yeah
🔗 but I think I've seen your.
🔗 Display and it was really it stopped me in my tracks because you suddenly feel
🔗 that you've walked in. You're looking at an alien landscape. So what is Osiris see.
🔗 Sarrasin you're actually very linear I've got it right.
🔗 Sarah SR is the North American pitcher plans a car in the response anomalous with
🔗 the Venus flytrap So on the car.
🔗 The response specialists saw them showing here is the best Sorry scene you can
🔗 and plants which you're looking best just on the air for this I will show itself
🔗 and they are beautiful colors
🔗 and they really sort of what would you call them.
🔗 Almost hassle colors but every shade in between nearly pure white
🔗 and almost dark maroon verging on black.
🔗 And you have every shade in reds greens pinks anything you like in between
🔗 and it looks like trumpets small trumpets when the
🔗 when you've got hundreds of them laid out.
🔗 Looks like you've landed on some strange alien planet. Exactly.
🔗 The fact code
🔗 and after Conan Doyle's book last world is based on the Venezuelan tepi race
🔗 and then low then he's going in Tempe ways which is really in England landscape.
🔗 You'll find sun picture plants up there so he said people have seen the animation
🔗 film Up there they had some of these actually on the top there but
🔗 when you're on the Sarah scene evolved in North America.
🔗 You see these firms it just don't belong.
🔗 If you only want what sort of heat walk in this country.
🔗 You won't see if it's a plant in the indigenous here
🔗 but the same ecosystems in North America.
🔗 You see these trumpets stick in the ground you think who put them there it just so
🔗 seem to belong. Now that they don't and awfully difficult to to cry.
🔗 Was it difficult to maintain or how do you feed them I mean you give them.
🔗 You given plant food all the op fly.
🔗 You know they catch all the insects themselves fortune the have six thousand plants
🔗 and there's better things to do now and feed them with flies
🔗 but in terms of difficulty I have a false on job. I have a family two kids.
🔗 I have a motorcycle which I enjoy as well if they were hard who would be able to
🔗 enjoy all those things in the normal life but to give you in context.
🔗 There's six thousand plants and I need.
🔗 For my plonk collection probably about twenty two hours a week through the year
🔗 but only work four days of the company workforce Fridays at their work so.
🔗 I'm not going for them. So yes.
🔗 So they need watering you need to remove the dead least they like sunny positions
🔗 they don't need any heating or missing. Fortunately So they're really easy to keep.
🔗 Well I do actually have documentary evidence which should be on our Facebook page
🔗 very very soon. All the plants feeding themselves I think I was a video the world.
🔗 So you could just fly because it's all a landed on wall but this is nice
🔗 and dive down into the sausage will never say it again.
🔗 Yeah I noticed
🔗 that there was some moisture on the edge of the true swing as a negative crop.
🔗 Yeah that's the bait. That's what Lewsey insects are the plans
🔗 but what you wouldn't know in this the plant actually secretes in the caustic agent
🔗 into the next and also in euros helps in so the fuss and all the hooks
🔗 that one sees how to feed it doomed to die.
🔗 So the author about ninety minutes of plants will no longer feel sorry the insect
🔗 will be alive anymore.
🔗 that you give your knowledge of how successful a picture pong can be a big relief
🔗 lead up to two thousand flies or last one.
🔗 Well it's certainly see the guy this morning. Finally traction.
🔗 Well I think it's the idea that song can deliver to catch kill
🔗 and digest insects with food.
🔗 It just sounds wrong the plant going off to animals a food
🔗 and the other thing is the creation in the phones of a lot of the work he's olds in
🔗 North America in particular
🔗 but these thoughts come from the land use change has any less than one percent left
🔗 of the original habitat. So a lot of my funk collection is also conservation work.
🔗 Strangely beautiful plants
🔗 and if you'd like to see you all go home saying well have a look.
🔗 The Facebook page but your initial Because in Paris.
🔗 You have to move my King about carnivorous clown to focus on.
🔗 Simon's legendary freezer dive magazine.
🔗 Say the day.
🔗 known to be the
🔗 issue radio took the question I'm doing fine now you
